Katie is an engineer and sustainability consultant with a passion for making and learning. Her career spans design and consulting in the built environment, curriculum design for creative education, and hands-on classroom teaching. 

 

In her creative practice, Katie explores human interaction with the built and natural environments through fiber and textile projects utilizing reclaimed materials. Her work provides a critical lens through which to examine the nature of waste and its relationship to consumerism and the climate crisis.
